It takes all kinds of support to maintain and enhance the high quality, well-rounded education we provide for students. Whether you're a TIMA parent or a community member, we welcome your support.
Financial Support and Donations
As a public charter school, TIMA is funded by federal, state, and local taxes, but charter schools receive less funding per student than traditional public schools. Our Annual Fund supplements this funding to help us provide exceptional teachers, a rich curriculum, and welcoming facilities.
In addition to time and financial support, TIMA welcomes donations of supplies that can be used in the classrooms, for after school programs, on the playground, or in administrative offices.
TIMA values parent participation and feels that active involvement in your child's education benefits both your child and the school. With this in mind, we ask each family for at least two hours of volunteer service to TIMA per month.
TIMA brings families and the Tybee Island community together for creative, entertaining fundraising events throughout the year.
We respect your privacy: TIMA does not sell or share any donor's personal information with any other entity.
